 | ALPACA FUR BEDSPREADS 9.3x8.6 foot alpaca fur bedspreads Alpaca Fur Bedspreads are made by hand in a thousand year old tradition in Peru. Each finished piece is then brought to our shipping offices in Peru and carefully inspected. There are approximately 800 sections in a large piece and each is individually and carefully sewn together. No two pieces are exactly alike. High in the Andes Mountains of Peru, our company rugs are designed and produced exclusively for you. When being produced, these alpaca furs come in five sizes: 4'x5', 6'x7', 7'x8.5', 8'x9' and 8.5'x9.5'. The 7'x8.5' and 8.5'x9.5' sizes are generally used for bedspreads while the two smaller sizes are normally used for decorative accent rugs or fireplace rugs. Being thin and lightweight, alpaca furs are best used for decoration or "light usage". Important: The Alpaca is not killed to get his fur; all pelts are from animals that have died a natural death.
