| About this company : Greentown was founded in 1997 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and today it is one of the leading companies importing a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables from all over the world to Russia. Initially, Greentown started working in the international market with exporters from Holland. Over the last 7 years we have developed good business relations with many companies from other countries due to our active marketing campaign and strategic planning. We do our best to avoid purchases from intermediary agents preferring to establish cooperation with direct producers and exporters. We aim to buy fruits and vegetables of the best quality from trustworthy companies because we are sure that only this way of cooperation leads to both supplier’s and final customer’s benefit. Today the main part of our imported fruits and vegetables comes from such countries as Holland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, China, Poland, Pakistan and the USA. From 2010 we have started cooperating the terms and conditions of FOB with Argentina (Moño Azul, Viticola Cuyo, Argenti Lemon etc), Chile and Peru. We also collaborate with the headquarters of RSA in Saint Petersburg – Seven Seas. We have been on the market for many years and due to our large experience we decided to cooperate with RSA directly. Apart from the company’s import activities we also operate in other spheres of the fruit and vegetable business including transportation, warehouse logistics and distribution of products on the Russian market. The total area of our warehouse today is about 3500 m² including storage rooms with ventilation and refrigeration system (which is about 2000 m²). The main direction of our sales is distribution to the far regions. We try to develop our partnership with large distributing companies in the north, central and south regions of Russia. The majority of imported products are delivered by vessels to the port of Saint-Petersburg where our customs department ensures fast customs clearance of the cargo addressed to our company. After that the cargo is inspected by our quality control and is delivered to our warehouse or to our regional departments. This large experience of cooperation with customs agents and transport companies lets us to load and unload the cargo in time, to fulfill our agreements and to deliver the goods with all the necessary permits and certificates. Our partners at that staging point are such companies as Baltic Shipping, Star Refeers, NYK Logistics, Maersk, Hamburg Süd, Hapag Lloyd, CSAV, MSC etc. For many years Greentown as earned the credit of being a conscientious and reliable partner on both the Russian and international markets. Every year we are at trade exhibitions in Berlin and Moscow, increasing the possibilities of cooperation with new companies and also expanding our sphere of influence. | ||||||
