     About this company : WORLDS WINDOW GROUP AND NAFED TO LAUNCH THE COLD CHAIN PROJECTS IN CHHINDWARA TO BOOST AGRI SECTOR PROPOSAL FOR REJUVENATION OF ORANGE PRODUCE Date: 08 MAY 2010 Location: NAGPUR Worlds Window Infrastructure & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (WWILPL) has entered into a 15 year contract with NSS Satpura Agro Development Company Ltd (NSADCL) which is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of National Agriculture Co-operative Marketing Federation (NAFED) and Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) for the Operation, Maintenance and Management of Cold Chain Infrastructure for Citrus & other Agro Products at Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh). The infrastructure includes 11 collection centers strategically located around Chhindwara district and 2 Cold Storages cum Pack Houses. Each of the collection centers is well equipped with state of the art warehouse (500 Sq.) and one deep freezer (5 MT). Each of the cold storage has a capacity of 500 MT along with a pack house of capacity 25 MT. The cold storages would house pre-cooling units and machinery for sorting, grading washing, waxing and other facilities for processing the produce. APEDA has provided Rs. 8.9 crore for setting up of the pack houses and Rs. 5.5 crore to set up eleven collection centers. WWILPL will shortly undertake these facilities from NSSADCL for operation, maintenance and management of the project and provide the related services.These projects will benefit the farmers and allow them to get a better price for their produce, apart from generating employment in this sector”, a senior official of Worlds Window said. Apart from this the Spices Board has set up a Spices Park in an area of 9 acres at Umranala. The Park provides facilities for dehydration of garlic products and coriander leaf, green chili extracts and medicinal herbs and turmeric. The project will include setting up of a world-class testing laboratory to be set up jointly by STC and Spices Board. Further, NAFED is also setting up a Seed Processing Unit at Kusmali at a total cost of Rs.1.25 crore. This is the area along with Amravati dist of Maharashtra produces best quality oranges and Sweet lime to cater all across the country from September to December and February to April to different parts of the country. Chindwara is the hub for spices in Madhya Pradesh producing very good produce of ginger, garlic, coriander etc. There is also a great scope for food grains like soybeans, wheat, maize and grams in this area. Corporate like ITC are procuring their raw materials from this area though their e-choupals.This area is also famous for producing best quality medicinal and aromatic products like Aonla, chironzee etcpanies like Dabur, Vadyanath etc are sourcing their materials from this locality through local vendors. Our aim is to cater the every possible service to the local farmers and our esteem customers like retailers, processors, hotels, restaurants and exporters across the countries from this central part of India. Apart from daily fresh needs we will also supply grains, minor forest produce, spices, processed food from this area to different part of the country. our services includes sorting, grading, waxing, packing, lebelling, pre-cooling, refer and non refer transportation, dry and cold storages, quality assurance, consultancy on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Soil test based crop recommendations, supply of quality agri-inputs, seedlings, biofertilizers, price information, weather forecast and other solutions to the rural issues in the area.
