 | Motherboard Asrock K10N78hSLI-WiFi ASRock introduces the K10N78hSLI-WIFI based on the GF8200. This is the first time a manufacturer uses a GF8200 as a discrete chipset and enable it with hybrid SLI. As you are aware that GF8200 comes with embedded IGP, ASRock did not include any HDMI nor D-SUB connectors. Instead, the board will only function with display if you pair it up with an external graphics card. If you pick the right "low end card" like the 8500GT, you will be able to tap the power of Hybrid SLI, allowing you to unleash the Hybrid SLI Boost feature embedded within the GF 8200 chipset. The board also comes with eSATA, 1394 and WIFI/AP features. For those who wants to o/c the board, there is the ASRock OC Tuner. With the software IES ( Intelligent Energy Saver), you can also see the power savings in realtime. IES is also implemented on this board. It is based on AMD PSI (Power State Indicator) spec, which is a function for AM2+ platform to improve energy efficiency by disabling extra phases when CPU is at light loading. The exclusively designed Intelligent Energy Saver can effectively increase Voltage Regulator Efficiency by 16% and decrease its Voltage Regulator power consumption by 48% without reducing CPU performance and reliability. This board suports the AM2/AM2+ processors with DDR2 800/667/533 with AM2 CPU, with 4 DIMM slots, maximum capacity up to 8GB. It supports NVIDIA® Hybrid SLI™ GeForce® Boost feature. The board coems with 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (green x16 mode), 6 x Serial ATAII 3.0 Gb/s connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5, JBOD), NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug functions. It also has 1 x eSATAII 3.0 Gb/s connector, supports Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/s, 2 x IEEE1394 ports (one port on back panel, one header on board) and 1 x WiFi/E header.
