| About this company : Yuen Foong Paper Co. (YFP) was founded in 1964. Through years of dedication to the printing and paper industries, YFP has become the leading Business Forms Printing company in Taiwan and has diversified in other industries such as Office Supplies and IC Card manufacturing. YFP obtained FISC (the Financial Information System Center of the government) IC Card COS certification in 1996 and is the first company, in cooperation with local semiconductor manufacturer, to jointly develop the telephone IC Card chip in Taiwan. Subsequently, the company won contract to supply 12.5 million telephone IC Cards to Chunghwa telecom Co., Ltd in 1997. YFP is the first company to provide universities and schools with a student IC Card solution and also the first company to provide cards and full personalization services for the Healthcare IC Card project. Tu-chen factory of YFP is the first Business Forms Printing factory obtaining ISO 9002 Quality Control Certificate and the pioneer in constructing an advanced professional printing building in Taiwan. YFP has purchased the first Intaglio printing machine in 1997, laying a solid foundation for reaching the engraving and security printing excellence. YFP is the first private owned printing company to invest in the Intaglio printing in Taiwan. YFP now has four factories and six branch offices/representative offices located throughout Taiwan. YFP has been active yet careful in overseas investments in U.S.A., Hong Kong, Mainland China and Japan and the overseas markets have extended to Asia, Europe and the Northern America.
