PNEUMATIC FENDER HNF HI-TECH Pneumatic Fenders are widely used for ship-to-ship operations. Applications include : Tanker lightering & other transfer operations, such as coal, ore, or grain Bunkering operations & Naval Applications Crane-Ships, Drill-Ships & Pipe-laying vessels Lay-up of vessels (side by side mooring) Due to buoyancy & lighe weight these fenders are very easy to install & handle even during the high tidal ranges of the jetty and thus proves cost-effective in Jetty construction. Very efficient in taking up oblique loads and in resisting shearing forces during inclined berthing. This is achieved even without any additional Factor Safety in designing. The unique feature of this fender type is the Safety Valve, which provides a check to the maximum level of pressure that the fender can withstand, and hence is more secured in case of subjection to excess loads. HI-TECH Pneumatic Fenders due to their inherent property of High Energy Absorption coupled with Lower Reaction Forces allows an economical design for constructing the Jetty. The floating tendency of the HI-TECH Pneumatic Fender, provides a phenomenal advantage over the other kinds, as these fenders can be put to us for mid-sea ship-to-ship cargo transfer. This proves a boon where ports lack facilities of large jetties for berthing large of additional Vessels. | ||||||
