Asti d.o.c.g. Product Characteristics

Classification: DOCG (Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin) sparkling wine
Origin: The hills surrounding S. Stefano Belbo in the heart of the production zone
Vine: 100% White Moscato
Vineyards: Positioned on the best hill exposures on steep marly soil characteristically known as "white soils", ideal for the Moscato vine
Grape production: 8,000-9,000 Kg/hectare max 10,000 Kg/Hectare carefully selected

Description: Sweet sparkling wine obtained with the Charmat method
Perlage: fine and persistent
Colour: pale golden with herbaceous reflections
Aroma: intense fragrance of Moscato
Taste: sweet, aromatic and well balanced
Alcoholic content: 7 degrees actual alcohol content 12 degrees potential alcohol content
Residual sugar: approx. 85 g/Lt.
Total acidity: 7 per thousand
Gastronomic matches: desserts, unfilled pastries in particular and fruit based sweets.
Serving temperature: 6/8°
