The modules are designed to meet the requirements of the new generation of CWDM systems and Raman amplifiers. Orte fused fiber technology offers the required performance at high reliability and a competitive price. ORTE CWDM provides high reliability and cost effective multiplexers, operates on minimum 5nm channel spacing in the 1200 to 1650nm from two channel system to eight channel system for the CWDM network. ORTE CWDM makes an excellent choice to meet Raman amplifier design, higher power amplifiers or new amplification methods are needle as system designers attempt to transmit more channels over longer distances. The new amplifiers require multiple high power pump lasers, creating a need for a pump laser combiner that can handle 5 watt pump power.
