| About this company : Dear Sir, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd is a state-of-the-art integrated Petrochemical Complex located at Haldia, approximately 125 kms from Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India. It is jointly promoted by West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, The Chatterjee Petrochem (Mauritius) Co. Ltd. and the Tata Group with an investment of $1.2 Billion. It has latest generation Naptha Cracker Unit with a capacity of 670 KTA and manufactures 860KTA of polymers and around 632KTA of petro-chemicals, with expansions underway. In polymer, HPL has a capacity of 560 KTA of Polyethylene (260 KTA of LLDPE and HDPE from latest generation Basell Technology Spherilene Gas Phase Swing Process and Mitsui Slurry CX Process respectively) and 300KTA of Polypropylene (PP) from Basell (Spheripol process) Technology. The liquid petrochemical products include Benzene, Butadiene, LPG, Cyclopentane, Py. Gas & Carbon Black Feedstock (CBFS). We are also exporting Value Added Products like Leno Bags, printed and unprinted HDPE T shirt bags, Injection moulded housewares, PP Woven sacks and PP woven fabric, garbage bags, pe shopping bags etc. Theseproducts are manufactured at the state of the art factories of our converters and the product quality and assured and ensured by our technical service personnel and also third party independent inspection agency appointed by us. We are getting all these products converted from our own virgin polymer resin from our reputed converters.  | Polyethylene grades POLYETHYLENE: HALENE L (LLDPE) & HALENE H (HDPE) HPL manufactures 260 KTA of LLDPE and HDPE with Licence from Basell, The Netherlands using "Spherilene Gas Phase Swing Process" and 300 KTA of HDPE and HMHDPE with Licence from Mitsui, Japan, using "Slurry CX Process". LLDPE/HDPE (Spherilene) Grades : Swing Process HPL's Spherilene process is a versatile multireactor gas phase technology and manufactures a wide range of polymer grades and reactor blends. - General Purpose film grades have easy processability, low haze, high gloss, high dart impact strength and tear resistance. - LLDPE Rotomoulding grades have excellent processability, high impact strength and high ESCR. - Special grades: Extrusion Coating on Woven Fabric and High MI Injection Moulding Grade for Master Batches and Compounding. HDPE Grades : Mitsui Slurry CX Process - HPL manufactures a wide range of HDPE grades having narrow, medium & broad (bi-modal) molecular weight distribution to suit a wide range of end uses. - HDPE & HM-HDPE film grades are "benchmark" for their strength and ease of processability. - Blow Moulding grades with excellent balance of processability and performance.
